1. 1What this covers

   This policy covers this website, run by ZKB Contracting, LLC, and the estimates we prepare, send and sign with you through our estimating app at estimates.zkbcontracting.com. It is written to be read.

2. 2What we collect, and when

   We collect information in two situations: you fill in the contact form, or we prepare an estimate for you.

   • What you type into the form: your name and email address, and, if you gave them, your phone number and a description of the job.
   • Recorded automatically when you send it: your IP address, the date and time, the page the form was on, and the exact consent wording you agreed to.
   • When we prepare an estimate for you: your name and how to reach you, the address of the job, what you tell us about the work, photos of the rooms, and, when you accept an estimate, your typed name, the time, your IP address and the browser and device you used, as the record of your signature.
   • When you only read the site: nothing that identifies you. This site runs no analytics.

   We use no advertising cookies, tracking pixels, session recording or fingerprinting, and no advertising networks. This site sets no cookies of its own.

3. 3Why we collect it

   • The form fields are there so we can do what you asked: get back to you about the job, by phone, text message or email.
   • The IP address, time and consent wording protect the form against abuse and keep a record of what you agreed to and when, so both you and we can show it.

4. 4How long we keep it

   We keep a request while you are a prospect or a client, and we delete it when you ask. See below.

5. 5Who else handles it

   A few services handle your details for us, and only to do what this page describes. Cloudflare serves this site, stores what the form sends and turns a signed estimate into a PDF. Resend delivers our email: the note that tells us you have been in touch, and any estimate or signed copy we send you. Our estimating app runs on Railway, which hosts it and the records it keeps, including a copy of what the form sends, and Anthropic’s Claude helps us write up the work you describe. Each of them handles your details only on our behalf.

   We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

   We will disclose information if the law genuinely requires it. If that ever happens and we are allowed to tell you, we will.

6. 6Getting your data, or getting rid of it

   Email [email protected] and ask. We will send you a copy of what we hold, correct anything wrong, or delete it, within 30 days. You can also tell us to stop contacting you at any time, and we will stop.

7. 7Children

   This site is for people arranging building work. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

8. 8Changes

   If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
